CTN 2016

I'll be going to CTN 2016 soon, so I thought I'd update my blog to show some of my work from this past year. This will be my first CTN, and I'll just be dipping my toes into its waters, but who knows who I will meet there!

This is my work-in-progress animation that is over the animatic I had completed for a solo short film project. I've been starting to address certain shots. It's still far from complete and apart from finishing the animation, I have to add more backgrounds and eventually color it. It's been a LOT of work but a very rewarding experience so far!

Here is some of my recent personal art (I haven't had a lot of time during school but I'm hoping to produce more stuff over the break).

A collaboration with my friend Karolyn Moses for Misha Collin's GISHWHES. The prompt for an illustration from the fairy tale "Trumpunzel" was funnier at the time. I thumbnailed the idea, Karolyn painted and designed Trump, the tower, and the background, and I handled Pence.

Another silly illustration for GISHWHES. I sketched the characters, Karolyn painted the background and inked it, and I colored the rest.

School Portfolio 2015

This being my portfolio page, I thought it would be a good idea to finally upload the portfolio I did of my schoolwork to move forward in the program at my school. Still got three years to go!

In other news, I will be opening up commissions soon-- I just need to get my new laptop set up, get my new Cintiq, and make a few more examples! School is also starting up. I'll try to get some of my work from last semester up here soon.

Very Late Update!

So I'm finally updating after-- oh jeez-- two years...

I'm active other places online, but I've sorely neglected my blogs. I wanted to update this one specifically though because I'm selling at Modesto-Con today and tomorrow (July 9th-10th). I'll be offering pencil commissions there on July 9th.
